Right now blood donations are not keeping pace with the demand for blood products. Many regular donors are busy or traveling and unavailable to give at this time. With schools on vacation and Independence Day drawing near, it’s important to remember that patients don’t get a holiday from needing blood. The need is constant.
Many people say they don’t give blood because they were never asked. Consider yourself asked!
Please donate to help during this summer blood shortage.

I've been listening to it all week and have enjoyed it greatly. One of the songs is dedicated to the memory of Josiah Allen. To check it out you can go to http://cdbaby.com/cd/davidbrowne. CDs are available at the Church office for only $10 or through David himself. Those CDs purchased through the Church will provide $5 each toward the ministry of NRCC. Way to go David!

]]>We are excited to share a resource of Christian materials (books, videos, small group leaders’ guides, etc.) that can help people be set free from the effects of sin, whether their own sin or the sins of others. Topics addressed include:
This training material is helpful both for those struggling with these areas AND those who care enough to help them. Via the internet, critical help can now be shared with people independent of where they live in the world. Free online videos and materials are available any time and can be accessed privately. While most will need the help of others as well, this may be a place to begin the healing and recovery process. Those who know the value of these materials can now easily share them with their friends and relatives.
Check it out at http://www.mcgeepublishing.com/onlinetraining.htm
Free videos available by clicking “Video Solutions.”
A link for this has been added to the top linkbar entitled "Healing Personal Issues." Enjoy and share with others!
]]>The Disaster Relief Committee is coordinating with the Remi, the governing body of the Church of God in Japan, and Satoru Konemoto, the national leader, in an effort to develop a response plan. Don Armstrong, the regional coordinator for Global Missions in the Asia–Pacific region is assisting in the collaboration and acting as liaison between the Disaster Relief Committee and the Remi.
The Church of God presence in Japan began in 1908. Today, we have ten missionary families serving there in addition to the sixteen Japanese congregations. The work of the Church of God in Japan is located in Tokyo and areas south of the capital city. The epicenter for the earthquake was located about 250 miles northeast of Tokyo. Early reports received indicate that none of our congregations was affected by the incident; all missionaries are safe and secure.
While the initial details of the magnitude of the devastation are daunting, the relief effort does provide an opportunity for God’s children to respond in love to those in critical need. More information will be released as the decisions on how the church can best respond to this tragedy are finalized. In the interim, please pray for those affected by this situation.
Many congregations and individuals have contacted CGM asking how they can help. In addition to prayer, it is anticipated there will be a critical need for donations to support the relief effort. Immediate donations to the Disaster Relief Fund-Japan can be made online by clicking here. Or checks can be mailed to Church of God Ministries, PO Box 2420, Anderson, IN 46018-2420. Please write Project 45.04508 in the memo line.
One hundred percent of all donations received will support disaster relief.
